2015 Mazda CX-5 review
That criticism was answered a few months later when Mazda made available the CX-5 with all the option of the turbodiesel - all of us soon announced this Zoom-Zoom was back. So in the interest of our car enjoyment we not too long ago re-tested a CX-5 for any week, and once again came away pleased
Interestingly, the diesel powered Mazda CX-5 has been promoted as the performance unit as opposed to an economy just one.
DESIGN
To the eyes, Mazdas Kodo styling theme with its big grille, long bonnet in addition to deeply sculpted sides works even better in the CX-5 than in other range. We find it irresistible
ENGINE / TRANNY
The Mazda SkyActiv turbodiesel suited to the CX-5 creates an impressive 420Nm in addition to 129kW.
It sits beside a six-speed intelligent transmission and drives all four wheels, unlike the petrol which comes with the choice connected with front-wheel or all-wheel push.
FEATURES
A premium nine-speaker Bose surround audio system was specifically designed for the CX-5. There are UNIVERSAL SERIES BUS and Bluetooth inputs along with iPod playback including on-screen music details and Aux jack port as standard.
We didnt particularly much like the TomTom satnav system from the CX-5 as the graphics didnt match the products rest of the interior.
SAFETY
Every model over the Mazda CX-5 variety comes standard having six airbags, Energetic Stability Control, ABDOMINAL MUSCLES brakes, Emergency Brake pedal Assist and Electric Brake Force Submission.
Mazda Australia is proud that the CX-5 came with the option of impressive list connected with safety firsts in its class; most of these included lane journeying warning and intelligent high beam control available.
DRIVING
This is the comfortable five-seater if those from the back arent extremely large, though as is usual in this particular class two grownups and three youngsters is a more sensible method of doing it.
Mazda CX-5 has a three-piece 40: 20: 40 fold-down rear seats to let you juggle luggage in addition to passenger loads. A luggage protect keeps 403 litres of cargo outside of sight. The luggage area is really as voluminous as 1560 litres with all the rear seats collapsed.
