Mercedes will use an integrated Apple and Google entertainment system
Jakarta - Following the debut of Apples iOS CarPlay , Mercedes - Benz announced a car entertainment system will be integrated with the operating system of Apple and Google .
" As soon as I launched into the market information system , a Mercedes - Benz customers will be able to enjoy the world of Android in the vehicle , " said Mercedes - Benz as quoted by page Leftlanenews .
The use of Android for the entertainment system in the Mercedes is not brightly lit , but the German brand revealed their vehicle with CarPlay system from Apple will begin to show themselves this week at the Geneva auto show .
CarPlay allows interaction between the iPhone with the vehicle , the use of a variety of iOS applications including voice recognition technology Siri .
First Mercedes Drive Kit Plus offers iPhone integration in mid- 2014 and will launch a system that supports Android , including COMAND Online , which contains direct traffic reports , digital radio , network television receiver , and the ability to become a Wi- Fi hotspot .
