BMW Planning to Launch Motorrad 300 cc Motorcycle

Following in the footsteps of other major manufacturers had a successful collaboration with local Indian motorcycle manufacturer to expand its line-up in the smaller segment , BMW Motorrad has established long-term partnership with TVS .
BMW plans to launch Air- cc motorcycle small to be developed first with TVS . To make the motor under 500 cc at an affordable price is hard at doing in Germany because the cost is very high , so they need a low cost of manufacture and TVS are at the right place and time .
BMW Motorrad will share it with the techniques and technologies that its Indian partners in such a way that no cooperation between the Erik Buell Racing with Hero India .
Meanwhile , TVS has introduced the concept of a capacity of 250 cc Draken X21 is reportedly designed entirely by TVS and a bold step motor manufacturer in India was to play a larger - cc .
This motor has a power of 38 hp engine with a torque of 23 Nm at 9,500 rpm , packaged in a light weight of just 134 kg . Although there are similarities with the design Kawasaki , KTM and BMW R1200GS , TVS Draken seemed to be a picture of a small engined BMW motorcycles in the future .
In the Indian motorcycle industry was rumored that BMW is planning to spawn a new platform that will carry the 300 cc single cylinder engine and will be built in several models using the same base .
It looks like BMW will release a small GS models , motorcycle touring naked bike and a sport bike . Naked bike models are expected to be on display in November at the Italian motorcycle exhibition EICMA ( Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo e Accessori Motociclo ) .
So far the German automaker said it would not use the facility in India to manufacture large machinery . But there is a possibility it could change in the next few years .
